
Dah biasa sangat dengan pai lain kan, even cream cheese tartlets pun dah selalu orang buat. This is chocolate pie in bite size. They are supposed to be in the fridge for 4 hours (to get the right texture), but I can't wait long enough. Anyway, my kids love them too.

9-inch baked Pastry Shell (I used remaining pastry shell I made for apple pie last night)
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups milk
1 large egg
2 large egg yolks
4 ounces (110 g) unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped (I used dark chocolate)
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar (icing sugar)
1 tablespoon cappuccino paste (or any flavor you like. This is optional)
Preparation:
Prepare crumb crust. Then combine first 6 ingredients in a medium saucepan, whisking well. Bring to a boil over medium heat, whisk constantly for 8 minutes. Remove from heat.
Stir in chocolate until smooth. Stir in butter and vanilla. Pour into pastry shell. Cover top of tart with wax paper. Chill at least 3 hours.
Whip cream and sugar until stiff. Spoon on top of tart.
